Born in the southern state of Tennessee and growing up in Kentucky, I am a southerner through and through. I discovered my love for photography and storytelling when I picked up my first camera in college after being asked to take prom pictures for a friend. Having no idea what I was doing but knowing I loved every second, I decided to pursue a degree in photojournalism.

I love the moment when the bride and groom are announced as husband and wife and the joy that exudes as they walk back down the aisle hand in hand. I love flickering candles and classic bouquets filled with peonies. I’m fond of father daughter dances and have been known to get chocked up during a best man or maid-of-honor speech.

When I’m not behind my camera, I love fixing up my old house, training for half marathons, hot coffee, romantic comedies, restoring old furniture, finding a good bargain and spending time with family.
